I have a diverse background and draw from a wealth of experience in many fields and educational backgrounds. Full of determination, desire for learning, and adaptable are a few of the traits that I have to help us together find your new home.
I went in the Army on my 17th birthday and enjoyed my service time in Germany so much I decided to stay. Once I exited the military, I worked as a civilian in Germany and studied to be a Paint and Lacquerer journeyman in a guild apprenticeship for 3 years and thus, speak and write German. The homes and weather there remind me of the Pacific Northwest and made the move to Oregon even easier.
Before moving to Silverton, we lived in Arizona for 17 years. I pursued a career as a blood bank manager for a testing facility after graduating from Arizona State University with a BS in Biology. At the same time, I pursued a M.A. in secondary education and taught for 3 years as a long term substitute in middle school. Later, I attended a vocational program in welding and finished the program with 7 certifications in various welding processes.
In 2015, we moved to Silverton and I decided to open my business serving clients and repairing homes. I operate McKee Home Services, LLC as a licensed contractor and take on all sorts of projects in the Silverton area. I met Dixon and Lisa while doing business and decided that working with them and the BST Realty LLC was a great experience that I wanted to join the team and be a part of something great.
